Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and stocked.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Part-time hours, on-site in Mocksville, NC, with opportunities to support team members and contribute to store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash and neat presentation.
