Job summary

Dollar Tree in Franklin, WV is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep areas clean and presentable.

This part-time role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to follow instructions, with physical duties including lifting 30–50 lbs and frequent movement around the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
