Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Elkins, WV to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, handle transactions at the register, keep the store clean and stocked, and support unloading and restocking duties as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), customer service experience, strong communication, and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Excellent teamwork and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
