Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Agawam, MA to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Requirements include the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, follow instructions, and communicate effectively with customers and teammates. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; this is a part‑time role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the register and manage cash.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks as needed.
