Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience and assist customers with questions and recommendations. You will handle sales at the register, keep the store stocked, and support unloading vehicles and stock replenishment.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork, with responsibilities spanning store cleanliness, asset protection, and professional interactions with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned.
