Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement needs. You’ll interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met in a fast-paced store environment.

You may work in various departments based on hiring needs, with opportunities to learn and cross-train. This role offers part-time options and access to Lowe's benefits and associate discounts.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience using a computer
• Six months of experience with common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform duties as required
• Elevate to lift up to 25 lb without assistance or with minimal help

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service
• Help customers locate and select products
• Stock and replenish shelves as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut and thread pipes) as required
• Assist customers through shopping or checkout
• Perform other duties as assigned
