Job summary

Par Pacific HELE stores are hiring a Customer Service Associate / Convenience Store Cashier in Hawaii. The role offers an hourly wage of $17.15–$21.15 with a $3.00 shift differential. The position supports fuel, food and convenience services to the local community.

You will provide prompt customer service, process sales on the POS, handle cash and other tenders, stock merchandise, and participate in safety programs. Part-time schedule with benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and handling cash preferred.
• Perform basic math accurately.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Ability to work various shifts as scheduled and arrive on time.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide prompt and courteous customer service; may assist customers at the gas pump.
• Accurately ring up all sales on POS system and comply with cash handling procedures.
• Responsible for all cash and other forms of tender (e.g., coupons, credit card transactions).
• Comply with company policies and store procedures, including safety and environmental policies.
• Receive, stock and organize merchandise; assist in maintaining inventory levels and shift audits.
• Participate in safety programs and trainings and attend required meetings.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness and maintain equipment.
