Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. in Hawaii seeks a Customer Service Associate at HELE Bayfront in Hilo. This full-time role offers an hourly wage of $17.15–$21.15 plus a $3.00 shift differential, depending on experience and hours worked.

You’ll provide prompt customer service, operate the POS, handle cash and payments, stock merchandise, and help maintain store safety and cleanliness while supporting a fast, friendly retail environment across our Hawaii network.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and handling cash preferred.
• Perform basic math accurately.
• Communicate in English (oral and written), including phone communication.
• Able to work various shifts and arrive on time.
• Able to work with equipment, tools and materials as required.
• Able to perform essential duties and work in described conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service; may assist at gas pumps.
• Ring up sales on POS; follow cash handling procedures and other payment types.
• Handle cash and other tender forms (coupons, credit cards).
• Comply with policies and safety/environmental procedures.
• Receive, stock and organize merchandise.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and conduct shift audits.
• Participate in safety programs and trainings; attend meetings as needed.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness inside and out.
• Identify equipment problems and report as needed.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision; may work flexible hours.
