Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. in Peabody, MA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and update shipment information. You will support Maersk stations and cartage agents while mastering customer applications.

Required is at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Excel is a plus. Remote work may be possible on occasion, with a competitive pay range.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to all callers.
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries received through email.
  • Make outgoing calls to follow up on shipment status, resolve issues, and update customers.
  • Track, trace, enter, and update shipments.
  • Assist and support Maersk stations and cartage agents.
  • Master outside customer applications.
  • Follow procedures for NCS accounts and inform management of modifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
