Job summary

Haggard & Stocking Associates in Evansville, IN, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle customer contact, order entry, pricing, and coordination with sales and vendors. The role operates 7:30 am–4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, offering a competitive hourly salary and a pathway to contribute to order accuracy and timely follow-up.

Ideal candidates enjoy interacting with customers and vendors, have strong Excel skills, and are adept at quotes and pricing, while supporting a busy

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
• P21 knowledge preferred.
• Product knowledge preferred - MRO products, fasteners, metalworking, construction and safety

Responsibilities

• Customer contact via telephone, and/or, in person
• Entering customer orders
• Quoting customer pricing, both verbally and electronically
• Expediting customer orders and direct purchase orders when customer inquires
• Negotiating pricing with customers and vendors
• Interaction with outside sales personnel
• Interaction with vendor representatives
• Pricing large spreadsheet type quote packages (Excel)
• Quick decision making ability
• Other duties, which may be assigned by manager
