Job summary

Haggard & Stocking Associates Inc on Indianapolis's southeast side is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle customer interactions, order entry, pricing, and expediting orders.

You will work with customers, vendors, and sales staff to ensure timely follow-up and accurate quotations. Regular hours, a competitive salary, and benefits are offered. Strong Excel/Word skills are a plus in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience in a customer service setting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and quotes.
• Answer customer questions via phone and in person.
• Expedite orders and manage direct purchase orders.
• Negotiate pricing with customers and vendors; interact with outside sales and vendor reps.
• Prepare quotes and pricing packages, often in spreadsheet form.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
