Job summary

Alpine Home Medical is seeking a friendly Customer Respiratory Specialist to assist in-store customers, educate them on respiratory equipment, and provide solutions through excellent service.

You will be the face of our team, handling POS for DME products, setting up PAP devices, coordinating deliveries, and supporting inventory while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication, and the ability to learn and recommend products to drive sales.

We are seeking a friendly, committed, and dedicated Customer Respiratory Specialist who enjoys helping others and making a difference in people's lives. In this position, you will be the "face of our company" and assist, educate, and provide solutions to our in-store customers, modeling a standard of excellence in providing superior customer service. You will be assessing and identifying customer needs, and efficiently performing all tasks related to our point-of-sale process. In this role, it is important to be knowledgeable of all respiratory equipment and supplies provided by Alpine Home Medical. Role and Responsibilities:

1. Set-up all respirator equipment and supplies efficiently and accurately. Most of these will be done in the store.
2. Assisting customers and providing an exceptional customer service experience by identifying customer needs and providing effective solutions.
3. Providing clear and effective instructions to patients and customers.
4. Handling point-of-sale for DME products within the store.
5. Arranging cost-effective delivery routes.
6. Being knowledgeable on respiratory supplies, prices, and reimbursement practices.
7. Managing all PAP Device set-ups and follow-through, and our Oxygen Service and Maintenance Program.
8. Picking-up equipment as needed.
9. Assisting with inventory control.
10. Always observing confidentiality and HIPPA guidelines.
11. Routine care and safe operation of company vehicles.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

1. Great customer service skills, with the ability to quickly identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
2. Ability to learn about the products and accessories Alpine Home Medical carries and be able to educate and recommend products to customers to drive sales.
3. A polite, positive, and cooperative attitude, and willingness to be part of a team.
4. Computer literacy and the ability to handle different software and programs.
5. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Great attention to detail.
7. Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks with numerous interruptions is a must, while still keeping a positive and friendly attitude.
8. A High School Diploma or a GED.

What We'd Love to See:

While not necessary, some big marks in your favor would include: prior experience in the HME industry, prior experience with medical insurance providers, and bilingual skills (Spanish/English)
