AirPlus is seeking a Customer Relationship Specialist to support our local and multinational customers and merchant partners. You will be the primary contact, ensuring a seamless customer experience while collaborating with Account Management and cross-functional teams to resolve inquiries and support ongoing business needs.

You will build relationships, manage CRM data, and handle day-to-day requests in a hybrid environment with two days per week in our Alexandria, VA office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 1+ years in customer service or client-facing role in a corporate/B2B environment.
  • Experience managing communication with corporate accounts.
  • Experience in travel, payments, or credit card industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish for US and Americas markets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and merchants by phone, email, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with timely, professional support.
  • Manage and update customer data in CRM and internal systems.
  • Own day-to-day operational requests and coordinate resolutions with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Account Management to resolve complex inquiries.
  • Handle customer concerns with a focus on timely resolution and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Accounting, Collections, KYC, and others to ensure a great experience.

Job description

We're looking for a customer-focused Customer Relationship Specialist to support our local and multinational customers and merchant partners. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring seamless customer experience while working closely with Account Management and cross-functional teams to resolve inquiries and support ongoing business needs.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and merchants via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering timely, professional support.
  • Manage and update customer information in CRM and other internal systems.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day operational requests and coordinate resolutions with internal teams.
  • Partner with Account Management and subject matter experts to resolve complex customer inquiries.
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints with a focus on timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Accounting, Collections, KYC, and other teams to ensure exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+years of professional customer service, customer relationship management, or similar client-facing role in a corporate or B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing communication with corporate accounts
  • Experience in the travel, payments, or credit card industry is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken), with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners across the US and Americas markets.

Additional Information

  • This is an 18-month contract position, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and business needs.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
