Job summary

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Quality Manager to lead the customer quality function across the project lifecycle. You will bridge customers with internal engineering, project management, quality, and production teams to ensure proactive, professional service.

The role requires strong relationship-building, fast issue resolution, and deep knowledge of quality processes in industrial manufacturing. A strong customer focus and analytical mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Quality, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in customer quality, customer service, warranty administration, project management, or related manufacturing environment.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and managing escalations in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with electrical manufacturing, power distribution equipment, switchgear, and engineered-to-order products is preferred.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measurement/testing equipment.
• Experience with ISO-9001 quality management systems (QMS).
• Computer literate with ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customer concerns, inquiries, complaints, warranty claims, and service issues with timely, professional responses.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand expectations and improve satisfaction.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues involving quality, engineering, schedule, documentation, delivery, and service.
• Manage warranty process from receipt to closure, including investigation and corrective actions.
• Track warranty costs, trends, and field issues to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Own customer complaints and escalations through resolution with clear communication.
