Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a skilled Customer Quality Engineer to serve as the primary quality liaison between MIRATECH and its customers. You will ensure customer requirements are understood and met, drive customer satisfaction, and lead root cause investigations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Customer Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or related roles.
  • Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary quality contact for assigned customers.
  • Respond to customer quality inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Participate in customer meetings, audits, and quality reviews.
  • Communicate customer requirements and expectations to internal teams.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on quality performance and continuous improvement.
  • Lead investigations of customer complaints, returns, and nonconformance reports.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Ensure timely closure of customer quality issues and provide comprehensive responses.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation related to customer quality performance.
  • Monitor customer quality metrics, including PPM, warranty claims, returns, and complaint trends.
  • Analyze data to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to customers and leadership.
  • Track and report corrective action effectiveness.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Management teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Support product launches and customer qualification activities.
  • Participate in risk assessments, process improvement projects, and quality planning activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibility
