We are looking for a high-performing Telecom - Customer Project Manager to join our team.
Description:
- Customer Project Managers utilize their project and people management skills to deliver high-quality projects on time, on budget, and with professionalism.
- They are responsible for managing cross-functional teams (leasing, zoning, architecture & engineering, construction, integration & optimization, etc.), reporting to management, communicating with clients, and ensuring Nokia meets scope, schedule, cost, and quality metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with the customer daily
- Define project scope, schedule, cost, resources, risk, quality, and deliverables in collaboration with customers and Nokia management
- Negotiate with other department managers for required personnel
- Assess the need for additional staff and recruit during the project cycle if necessary
- Manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
- Identify and resolve issues within the project team
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations
- Perform Risk Analysis for the project
- Manage changes in project scope, identify crises, and devise contingency plans
- Define project success criteria and communicate them throughout the project
- Build and develop business relationships vital to project success
- Conduct project reviews and create recommendations
- Collect best practices and tools for project management
- Travel: up to 10%
Requirements:
- 5+ years of telecom experience, including site acquisition, construction, integration, and optimization
- Minimum OSHA 10 Certification
- Strong focus on safety
- Developed project management skills, understanding scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, resources, and delivery
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Financial knowledge, ability to manage project budgets, margins, invoicing, and revenue
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects)
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for changing priorities
