Job summary

Infineon Technologies is seeking a Customer Program Director to lead strategic programs for key customer accounts within the Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team in the United States. You will guide global, cross‑functional teams from planning through delivery while strengthening trusted customer relationships.

Responsibilities include steering programs across design-in, qualification, demand management, and quality, and translating customer priorities into actionable business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience, including leadership of complex customer-facing programs and global cross-functional teams.
  • Strong program management skills in planning, prioritization, risk management, issue resolution, and delivery.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messages for technical, business, and senior leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic customer programs across product design-in, qualification, demand management, product quality, and future opportunities.
  • Own the end-to-end program lifecycle including planning, execution, risk management, issue resolution, reporting, and closure.
  • Align global cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Manage customer escalations and crises by coordinating timely decisions, clear ownership, and actions that reduce business impact.
  • Build trusted customer relationships through a strong understanding of business priorities, market trends, technical challenges, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate complex data into action by providing concise insights, business risks, strategic opportunities, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive results through influence by creating alignment, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus across a matrixed organization.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You combine customer focus withsound judgment and clear executive communication. You respond effectively tochanging priorities, manage competing objectives, challenge the status quothoughtfully, and build collaboration across diverse teams

  • Mandatory: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ElectricalEngineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Technology, or a related technicalfield
  • Mandatory: 10 or more years of semiconductor industryexperience, including leadership of complex customer-facing programs and globalcross-functional teams
  • Mandatory: Strong semiconductor knowledge with theability to understand customer requirements, product architectures, developmentchallenges, and solution value
  • Mandatory: Strong program management skills in planning,prioritization, risk management, issue resolution, and delivery
  • Mandatory: Executive-level communication andpresentation skills, with the ability to adapt messages for technical,business, and senior leadership audiences
  • Preferred: Demonstrated success building customerpartnerships, influencing without formal authority, analyzing complex data, andguiding decisions across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of power semiconductors, a PMP,IPMA, or equivalent project management certification, and experience mentoringor coaching others

Salary pay information:

  • San Jose, CA, United States: US$ 206,640.00 – US$ 284,130.00. In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
