Job summary

Boge-Rubber- in Hebron Estates, KY, seeks a logistics administrator to coordinate customer releases, enter orders in SAP, and respond to shipment inquiries. You will communicate requirements across departments and notify customers of production or shipment shortfalls.

Responsibilities include issuing ASNs, maintaining monthly reports (ASN, Flash Projection, On Time Delivery), and participating in APQP as assigned. A Bachelor’s degree and five years in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Strong ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Experience with SAP for order entry and shipments.
• Knowledge of APQP processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer EDI releases and verify accuracy in SAP.
• Enter manual orders into SAP.
• Respond to shipment inquiries and communicate requirements across the organization.
• Notify customers of production/shipment shortfalls as they occur.
• Issue ASNs and fax ASNs to customers as required.
• Maintain monthly reports: ASN Summary, Flash Projection, Firm Order Flash, On Time Delivery/Excess Freight.
• Review Daily Trend Report with production before monthly final issuance.
• Track and record excess outbound freight and submit with On Time Delivery/Excess Freight report.
• Participate in APQP process as assigned by logistics manager.
• Coordinate with materials and production teams to ensure timely launches.

SUMMARY:Liaison with customers regarding scheduled requirements and shipments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONISIBILTIES:Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.Receives customer EDI releases. Monitors accuracy of same through SAP system. Enters manual orders (hard copy or fax) into SAP system.Handles customer shipment inquiries and communicate requirements throughout the organization. Informs customers of production/shipment shortfalls as they occur. Communicate with customers verbally and through electronic systems such as DDL.Notifies customers of shipments through ASN (Advanced Shipment Notification) in the EDI system. Fax ASN’s to other customers as required.Maintain the following reports: ASN Summary Report (monthly), Flash Projection Report (monthly), Firm Order Flash Report (monthly), On Time Delivery Performance/Excess Freight (monthly).Review Daily Trend Report with production specialist before issuance of monthly final. This must be balanced with the ASN Report and Delivery and Return Report.Track and record excess outbound freight for customer shipments. Submit with On Time Delivery Performance / Excess Freight Report (monthly).Participant in APQP process as assigned by logistics manager.Work closely with all departments to ensure smooth, timely launch of programs.Participate in production meetings.
