Description

The Customer Integration Specialist (Contractor) is customer-focused, responsible for providing quality and timely integration support to an assigned quota of school district customers. Working collaboratively with Customer Service Representatives, Account Managers, Digital Support Representatives, and Development teams, you'll help develop scalable strategies to onboard new customers and integrate Wayside Publishing's Learning Site with third-party education technology solutions.

This position is 40 hours per week, ending on 9/30/2025.

Who We Are

Wayside Publishing develops world language programs, resources, and materials for middle and high schools nationwide. We partner with educators to create engaging texts and digital tools that foster communication and cultural understanding.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer Integration Support: Provide timely support to onboard and integrate customers with third-party educational technology solutions.
  • Collaborative Strategy Development: Work with teams to streamline customer onboarding processes.
  • Project Ownership: Manage integration projects, troubleshoot issues, and develop support documentation.
  • Process Optimization: Support process improvements to reduce barriers over time.
  • Customer Communication: Engage with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
  • Documentation and Support: Co-create support materials for customer use.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical experience in technology implementation and customer onboarding, preferably in EdTech or SaaS.
  • Experience in designing rostering, data analysis, and integration solutions.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical info and guiding customers.
  • Data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Proven project and time management skills.
  • Commitment to self-improvement and feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience engaging stakeholders, respecting data privacy, and exercising sound judgment.
