Job summary

Celero Communications, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Coherent DSP Applications Engineer to bring next-generation coherent optical DSP solutions from lab to customer deployment.

You will work with DSP, ASIC, hardware, firmware, and product teams, partnering with hyperscalers and NEMs to deploy, validate, and optimize systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Applied Physics.
• Experience with coherent optical DSP hardware/software environments is highly desirable.
• Strong fundamentals in DSP, telecommunications theory, and optical communications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for customer integration and deployment of coherent DSP-based optical modules and systems.
• Collaborate with hyperscalers, NEMs, and partners for platform integration and bring-up.
• Drive interoperability testing, field trials, and early deployments; optimize DSP parameters for performance and reliability.
• Partner with DSP, ASIC, hardware, firmware, and systems teams; contribute to documentation and customer-facing materials.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to customers and internal stakeholders; help shape product direction and roadmap decisions.
