Job summary

Celero Communications is seeking a hands-on Coherent DSP Applications Engineer to take coherent optical DSP solutions from lab to customer deployments. You will partner with DSP, ASIC, hardware, firmware, and product teams, and work with hyperscale customers to validate, debug, and optimize systems.

The role offers influence on product direction, strong cross-functional collaboration, and exposure across DSP, optics, ASICs, firmware, systems, and customer applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical/Communications/Optical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in coherent optical DSP applications.
• Strong fundamentals in DSP, communications theory, and optical networks.

Responsibilities

• Own customer integration and deployment of coherent DSP modules.
• Collaborate with DSP, ASIC, hardware, firmware, and product teams.
• Support interoperability testing and field trials with hyperscalers and partners.
• Analyze performance metrics and drive issues to root cause.
