Job description

Location: Addison, IL (Onsite)

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000

Launch Your Career by Helping Customers and Businesses Grow

The Cary Company is seeking a curious, analytical, and driven individual to join our team as a Customer Growth Coordinator.

This unique opportunity blends marketing, analytics, ecommerce, AI, customer experience, and business strategy. We're looking for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, solving problems, developing new ideas, and using data to drive meaningful business results.

Rather than managing a sales territory, you'll help identify growth opportunities across thousands of customers, hundreds of product categories, and multiple sales channels. You'll analyze customer behavior, ecommerce activity, marketing initiatives, and business data to uncover opportunities that increase customer engagement, revenue, and long-term customer value.

Successful candidates will begin with a structured 5-6 month Customer Experience Trainee Program designed to provide exposure to key areas of the business before transitioning into the Customer Growth Coordinator role.

You'll work closely with leaders from Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Customer Experience, and Analytics to identify trends, develop growth initiatives, test new ideas, and turn insights into action. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity, technology, customer insights, and data to help drive business growth.

5-6 Month Customer Experience Trainee Program

During your first 5-6 months, you'll gain hands‑on exposure to multiple areas of the business, including:

  • Customer Relations
  • Sales
  • Ecommerce
  • Marketing
  • Product Management
  • Data & Analytics
  • AI & Automation Initiatives

This foundational experience will help you develop a strong understanding of our customers, products, systems, and growth strategies before transitioning into the Customer Growth Coordinator role.

Position Summary

The Customer Growth Coordinator is responsible for identifying and driving growth opportunities across Cary's existing customer base, online customers, house accounts, and dormant accounts.

The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Customer Service, and leadership to uncover opportunities that increase customer value, improve engagement, and generate additional revenue.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting data, customer insights, marketing initiatives, ecommerce activity, and sales strategies to help customers discover more of what Cary has to offer.

What a Typical Week Might Look Like

  • Build and track customer win‑back and retention campaigns.
  • Identify dormant customers that may be worth re‑engaging.
  • Use CRM, reporting tools, customer data, and AI solutions to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Develop recommendations to help customers discover more of Cary's products and services.
