Job summary

Gexpro Services in Kansas is looking for a Customer Fulfillment Representative who will serve as the interface between the company and customers, ensuring orders are fulfilled in a timely and satisfactory manner across customer service, warehouse operations and sales support.

You will lead warehouse operations coordination, manage order entry and status, use WMS and MS Office tools, and support the Program Manager with sales tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience overseeing general supply chain processes in a warehouse environment.
• Strong time management, multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving.
• Effective communication with coworkers; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations including delivery scheduling, inbound/outbound processes, safety, and special customer requirements.
• Manage customer accounts: order entry, inquiries, status, inventory, fulfillment and transportation management.
• Handle tactical inquiries like processing purchase orders and shipping confirmations.
• Use WMS and IT systems to manage inventory and shipping/receiving tasks.
• Transport and stock inventory at off-site locations up to 3 times per week using company vehicle.
• Use RF scanners for bin inventory quantities and QAD uploads.
• Promote a culture of safety and address safety concerns immediately.
• Provide additional sales support to the Program Manager as needed.

Customer Fulfillment Representative Summary

The Customer Fulfillment Representative will serve as the interface between the company and customers. They are responsible for ensuring that customers’ orders are fulfilled in a timely and satisfactory manner. This position will cross between customer service, warehouse operations and sales support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations including delivery scheduling, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, and special customer requirements.
• Provides customer account management which may include, but is not limited to, order entry, order inquiry, order status, inventory inquiries, customer fulfillment and transportation management to analyze and resolve customer needs.
• Manages tactical customer inquiries such as processing purchase orders and communicating shipping confirmation.
• Utilize WMS and other IT systems to manage inventory and complete the shipping, receiving, picking, and putting away of parts and customers' order.
• Use the company vehicle to transport and stock, inventory in appropriate shelf and/or bin at off-site customer locations, up to 3 times per week.
• Use RF scanner to obtain bin inventory quantities for QAD uploads, allocating material in the QAD system.
• Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment, assume responsibility for immediately addressing safety concerns.
• Provide additional tactical sales support to the Program Manager as needed.

Requirements

• The Customer Fulfillment Representative should preferably possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous working experience overseeing general supply chain management processes in a physical demands warehouse environment. This includes standing continuously, lifting up to 50lbs unassisted and repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity.
• Strong time management skills, along with multi-tasking, prioritizing and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, organize, and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
• Goal oriented and self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Customer oriented and motivated with solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of and a proficiency in using Computer and Microsoft Office applications –Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
• The qualified candidate must also possess the ability to work overtime, when necessary.
• Customer service and hourly warehouse experience in a distribution environment a plus.
