Peoples Bank in Crown Point is seeking a Universal Banker I to provide prompt, friendly service and help customers with everyday banking needs at our Crown Point Banking Center.

You will process teller transactions, balance cash drawers, advise on bank products, handle routine account maintenance, and work with teammates to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service and cash handling experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Smartphone (iOS or Android) capable of supporting IT security features.

Responsabilités

• Process teller line transactions at a proficient level (deposits, loan payments, checks, official checks).
• Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow BSA/AML/OFAC policies and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain confidentiality of bank information.
• Engage customers to identify needs and suggest products/services.
• Assist customers with routine questions and account maintenance.
• Develop proficiency in vault transactions, end-of-day processing, and teller operations.
• Understand bank security system and assist in testing alarms.
• Assist in completing required reports.
