Job summary

Bloom Credit Union in Grand Rapids is seeking a friendly Teller to provide professional and confidential service while handling member transactions in person, by phone, or by mail. You will balance your cash drawer daily, greet members, and help them meet their financial goals.

The role requires at least 1 year of cash handling, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a background check. Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays is typical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of cash handling experience.
• Must pass background check.
• Be able to work Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Balance your checks and cash drawer daily; report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Greet and welcome members, provide prompt, accurate and efficient member transactions.
• Manage time efficiently, seek opportunities to develop knowledge.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude with complex situations.
• Cash share drafts/checks and process withdrawals; verify signatures and balances.
