Job summary

State Bank of Southern Utah is seeking a friendly Teller who will greet customers, process a variety of banking transactions, and help maintain accurate cash handling. You will support customers with everyday banking needs and protect both customers and the bank by identifying suspicious activity.

The role offers full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays. Ideal candidates have basic cash-handling experience, a customer-focused mindset, and a commitment to integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of cash-handling experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a credit and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and other banking transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain cash control per bank policies.
• Assist customers with account-related questions and everyday banking needs.
• Identify customer needs and connect them with bank products and services.
• Print replacement debit cards and assist with related services.
• Resolve customer concerns and provide solutions when possible.
• Monitor for unusual transactions and report suspicious activity.
