Job summary

West Coast Convenience is seeking team members to join its fast-paced network of convenience stores, gas brands, and car washes across California. Roles are available for all shifts, with full-time and part-time options, and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Team Members are expected to handle cash, assist customers, stock shelves, and maintain a clean store environment while upholding core values such as People, Teamwork, Communication, and Safety. Background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule is required.
• Ability to read, understand, and write in English.
• Basic math including making change.
• Ability to validate identification for tobacco/alcohol where required by law.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Remain calm and follow policies during emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in varying temperature environments (coolers, outdoors, station).

Responsibilities

• Manage the cash register during the shift, keeping cash balanced and serving customers quickly and accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean, professional store appearance.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers, vendors and staff.
• Keep a clean, customer-friendly store and surrounding area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash issues when needed.
• Prepare shift reports per company guidelines.
• Cross-sell and upsell products to increase store sales.
• Escalate high-priority issues to the manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
