West Coast Convenience is seeking team members for its evolving network of convenience stores, fuel stations, and car washes in California. This entry-to-mid level role offers full-time and part-time opportunities across all shifts to fit various lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations in a quick timeline.
• Ability to read, understand, and write in English.
• Perform basic math including proper calculation of change.
• Validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol (as required).
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Remain calm and respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in various temperature environments (coolers, outdoors, station).

Responsibilities

• Manage the cash register throughout the shift and balance funds.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean, professional store appearance.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store and surrounding property.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash issues as needed.
• Prepare shift reports per company guidelines.
• Cross-sell and upsell store products to increase sales.
• Escalate high-priority issues to the manager.
