Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring a Team Member to deliver excellent customer service, help with food preparation, and process payments at our travel plazas serving travelers across the Northeast and Midwest. You will stock, clean, and maintain food service areas while following safety and brand standards.

This role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time.
• Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to travelers and guests.
• Operate POS system and process payments accurately.
• Follow food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Adhere to brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Execute additional tasks as needed.
