Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a friendly Team Member to join our fast-paced kitchen and front-of-house team. You will help open the shop, prep food, and serve customers to deliver a high-quality, consistent experience.

Eligible applicants are 16+, with strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. A food safety certification may be required within 30 days of employment and health standards are

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep) as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager.
• Maintain health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc. efficiently.
• Handle cash register operations and balance cash procedures.
• Assist with delivery/catering/pickup orders and customer inquiries.
