Job summary

Yesway- in New Mexico seeks a Store Associate to deliver friendly guest service, handle transactions, keep the store clean and stocked, and assist with food prep as directed. You will follow Yesway standards and support a safe, efficient shopping environment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods and resolve guest concerns promptly. Full-time positions with a comprehensive benefits package are offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Physical ability to move merchandise and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by ensuring timely guest transactions, cleanliness, and Yesway standards.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper placement, pricing and stocking of merchandise in the store.
• Process sales transactions, using appropriate equipment.
• Prepare cooked foods as directed by Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Maintain shelves, counter, floor, glass and equipment following store maintenance schedule.
• Stock shelves with merchandise, block shelves, bag ice and maintain soft drink bags-in-box.
• Other duties as assigned.
