Job summary

Yesway- is seeking an enthusiastic store associate for our De Leon, TX location. You will deliver friendly hospitality, handle guest transactions, and maintain merchandising and store cleanliness to Yesway standards.

The role involves stocking merchandise, processing sales, and following directions from the Store Manager, including basic food prep per needs. It is a full-time position requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Certification: Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by ensuring timely guest transactions, facilities/store cleanliness, and implementation of Yesway standards.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper placement, pricing and stocking of merchandise in the store.
• Process sales transactions, using appropriate equipment.
• Prepare cooked foods as directed by Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Maintain shelves, counter, floor, glass and equipment following store maintenance schedule.
• Stock shelves with merchandise, bag ice and maintain soft drink bags-in-box.
• Other duties as assigned.
