Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company operates Break Time convenience stores, seeking a Sales Associate to deliver fast, friendly service and accurate transactions. You will handle merchandise, promotions, and stock while maintaining cleanliness and safety in a busy retail environment.

The role includes basic food preparation, POS operation, documentation, and cross-training across store operations. A strong team player with reliable attendance and basic math skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who thrives in a fast-paced store.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays; able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers; provide fast, friendly service and conduct accurate transactions.
• Merchandise, price items, promote promotions and keep shelves stocked and clean.
• Operate POS, perform shift reports, count product, and assist with vendor check-ins.
• Train new employees on policies; perform loss control in cash handling and counter activities.
• Assist with food preparation following recipes and ensure proper time/temperature checks.
