Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company’s Break Time convenience stores are seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, process transactions and keep the store clean and well stocked while following company policies and procedures.

You will assist with merchandising, food preparation and customer service, operate the point-of-sale system, and work as part of a team to deliver fast, friendly service during scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment
• Flexible availability to work, including weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers; provide fast and friendly service and process transactions
• Merchandising and sales, pricing, promotions, stocking and store cleanliness
• Maintain timely, professional communication with customers, vendors, coworkers and management
• Work as a team to serve customers while adhering to regulations
• Operate point of sale and other technology; perform cash handling and reports
• Train new employees on policies and procedures; assist with loss control and food safety
