Job summary

Chico’s FAS, Inc. – Retail is seeking a Sales Associate to support Management in cultivating a customer- and product-focused sales culture, delivering a great customer experience and driving profitability.

You will promote MAPS, sign up reward members, and help maintain in-store and online product knowledge. The role requires strong communication, customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• For the listed states: AZ, GA, ID, IL, KS, MS, MO, MT, ND, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, VA, must be 16+.
• For all other states, must be 18+.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate with customers, Associates, and Management.
• Regular attendance is essential; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer; recommends merchandise selections or helps locate merchandise based on customer needs.
• Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintains pricing and visual standards.
• Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by Management.
• Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and sales floor maintenance.
• Promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards and offers a cohesive omni channel experience.
• Ensures prompt resolution of customer concerns and a fast, efficient register experience.
• Reinforces buying decisions at checkout and achieves add-on goals including gift card sales.
• Signs up clients for reward program and builds client following via clienteling and Wardrobe.
• Knows current product fit and style assortment and utilizes clienteling tools.
• Supports replenishment activities and boutique cleanliness and organization.
