Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to assist customers, manage transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and moving tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; restock per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, and trash managed.
• Other duties as assigned.
