Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Retail Sales Floor Associate to maintain a clean, organized store and provide friendly, efficient service during shifts. You’ll help with POS transactions, merchandising, and general store readiness, embodying Goodwill's mission and values.

Under store management, you’ll complete tasks to ensure a welcoming environment, support opening/closing routines, and assist customers with questions while upholding safety and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail, customer service, or production experience preferred.
• Bilingual language skills are preferred.
• Experience operating a point-of-sale system or handling cash transactions preferred.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments preferred.
• Previous nonprofit or mission-based retail experience is a plus.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate transactions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required in a retail environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support a consistently positive shopper experience by keeping a clean, organized, well merchandised store environment.
• Greet, respect, engage, assist, and thank every shopper to deliver world-class service.
• Accurately process POS transactions with friendly, efficient service.
• Support merchandising standards through timely recovery, replenishment, and presentation adherence.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across shopper-facing areas including registers and aisles.
• Assist shoppers with questions, product location, fitting rooms, and checkout needs.
• Assist with signage, price accuracy, fixture organization, and product presentation.
