Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the POS and help with store operations in Ohio. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and accept various payment methods while upholding Kohl’s service standards.

Requires minimum age 16, flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience not required; training is provided to learn POS procedures and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services; operate register, scan items, bag merchandise and accept payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards quickly and courteously.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and POS procedures.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register balancing and replenishment.
• Act with integrity and foster an inclusive culture.
• Contribute to a team environment and follow company policies and safety rules.
