Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Switchboard Operator / Receptionist to support the reception desk and switchboard. You will greet customers, answer calls, direct inquiries, and distribute applications to prospective associates.

The role requires friendly, professional communication, ability to handle cash and operate POS/PBX systems, and to assist management with scheduling and clerical tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Idaho location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Experience with a storefront switchboard/ reception is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the reception desk.
• Answer and direct incoming calls via switchboard.
• Handle customer and associate inquiries and requests.
• Distribute applications to prospective associates.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments for management.
• Maintain bulletin boards and post schedules.
• Operate and troubleshoot basic POS and PBX systems.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and follow company policies.
