Fitz's Fish Ponds is seeking a Retail Store Associate in New Jersey to assist customers, manage purchases, and maintain in-store aquatic displays. You will interact with visitors daily and ensure a high level of service while handling cash and answering product questions.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, keeping tanks and outdoor areas clean, and coordinating with other departments as needed. The role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays and a passion for aquatics.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in retail sales or cashier roles.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Open to varied weekly shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with purchases.
• Handle cash register operations and transactions.
• Maintain koi, plant, and store tanks; keep outdoor area clean and organized.
• Restock shelves and perform inventory checks.
• Assist with inventory management and recalls as needed.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
