Job summary

Hibbett's Saint Charles, MO store is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver quality customer service and drive product sales. You will know product areas, promote promotions, and serve as an ambassador for the brand.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting during peak periods, meeting sales targets, following policies, supporting daily store operations and shipments, and protecting company assets. This role reports to the Store Manager and is hourly with non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary customer service to customers entering the store and during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by the organization.
• Set goals to grow and improve selling skills and track sales.
• Uphold company policies and procedures as listed in manuals.
• Assist in the daily operations of the store, including tasks and shipments.
• Present merchandise to promote and sell goods per product knowledge manual.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Identify merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational issues to management.
• Attend staff meetings and tech clinics.
• Protect company assets and financial information by internal controls and reporting potential fraud risk.
