Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will handle transactions, assist with bagging, restock supplies, and keep the front end organized in a fast-paced environment.

Must be 16 or 18+ depending on location, complete cashier/front-end training, and have basic math and communication skills. A flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; prior customer service is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth and positive checkout experience for customers
• Assist with completing purchases accurately and efficiently
• Scan items, bag groceries, and answer customer questions
• Keep the front-end area organized, clean, and running consistently
• Rotate between tasks: handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining checkout area
• Adapt to changing priorities and customer flow throughout the shift
