Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the face of the store, processing purchases quickly and accurately while ensuring customers are satisfied. You will handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide information to shoppers in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 18+ years old with 1–2 years cashiering experience, strong math skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and with complete satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments and give correct change.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints.
• Maintain checkout area clean and organized, assist stocking shelves when needed.
• Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier.
