Job summary

OpenAI Forward Deployed Engineers team seeks customer-focused software engineers to design and implement custom software using OpenAI’s APIs to solve real customer problems.

You will collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success while working with Research and Applied Product teams to deliver scalable solutions for client engagements. This role is based in Seattle with a hybrid schedule and relocation support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional full stack engineering experience in tech/product-driven companies
• Former founder or early startup engineer a plus
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL
• Bias for action and iterative delivery with customers

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success to design and implement scalable OpenAI-based solutions
• Provide customer feedback to Research and Engineering teams to improve offerings
