Job summary

Northgate Gonzalez Market is seeking a Seasonal Courtesy Clerk for Store #09 in Santa Ana, CA. This part-time Front End position offers hourly pay between $17 and $21, with duties including bagging, carry-out service, stocking, and assisting customers with purchases.

Qualified applicants will have at least a high school education (preferred) and must be able to lift up to 42 pounds. The role supports store operations, pricing checks, and maintaining clean front-end areas with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not absolutely required
• Arithmetic calculations at eight-grade level for sales and totals
• Ability to hear, speak and understand spoken word for requests and pages
• Ability to read, write, analyze and understand English documents
• Must have valid work permit if under 18
• Punctual and reliable attendance

Responsibilities

• Observe store rules and safety policies
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and follow dress code
• Observe shift hours as scheduled by store director
• Bag customer purchases according to store procedures
• Provide carry out service and assist customers with purchases
• Assist in stocking and returning items to shelves
• Assist customers with loading into vehicles
• Keep front end clean and orderly and maintain displays
