Job summary

Northgate Gonzalez Market is seeking a Seasonal Courtesy Clerk for Store #02. This part-time position offers hourly pay of $17–$21 with flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn in a busy Southern California store.

As a Courtesy Clerk, you will assist customers, bag groceries, provide carry-out service, and help keep the front end clean and orderly while following store policies and safety guidelines. Prior experience is not required; reliable attendance is valued.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not absolutely required.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Be punctual and reliable with attendance.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic for sales and inventory tasks.
• Must be able to work in a team and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Observe store rules and safety policies.
• Bag customers' purchases and provide carry out service.
• Assist customers with purchases and loading into vehicles.
• Maintain front end cleanliness and orderly displays.
• Record in-store merchandise usage accurately.
