Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks a Customer Service Representative to uphold cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role involves performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining daily upkeep while following safety protocols.

The candidate should have 3–6 months of training/experience, may require a valid driver’s license, and be willing to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 3–6 months training or experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment.
