Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane
• Process transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
• Operate POS system and handle cash, checks, debit/credit, SNAP EBT, WIC and coupons
• Adhere to cash-handling policies, loss prevention, and restricted item guidelines
• Report pricing discrepancies to Scan Coordinator and follow charge procedures
• Stay informed on ads, promotions and store policies
• Ensure compliance with food safety and safety procedures
• Provide helpful service to diverse customers including minors and seniors
