Responsibilities

• Greet customers, engage with them, and assist as they shop.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and politely.
• Understand POS systems and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, and loyalty offers per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits to minimize shortages and overages.
• Observe guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay aware of ads and promotions; comply with food safety and safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report any issues to management; create welcoming store environment.
