Qualifications

• Ringing out customer purchases while ensuring total customer satisfaction.
• Accurately scan and ring out purchases using POS including cash, check and charge transactions.
• Maintain professional checkout area and assist customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scan and ring out customer purchases with POS register.
• Provide correct change to customers.
• Close out register at end of shift.
• Assist customers with large purchases (carry to car).
• Restock from in-store stock and incoming orders.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms and break areas.
• Answer phones with proper greeting and service levels.
• Support inventory management, pricing, and merchandising at checkout area.
• Identify and report potential shoplifters per policy.
• Assist in product presentation and replacement ordering.
• Package and prepare items for home delivery.
• Complete all mandatory training and duties as assigned.
